[tig] Thomson/Grass Valley Support Issues

I had a problem last year with the phone support getting the message 
to the service person in a timely manner. It took 4 hours to get the 
message to the New York technician on duty even though the situation 
was described as "emergency-- machine is down."

The people in the field are competent and dedicated but the melding 
of Thomson and Grass Valley support infrastructure may need some 
further refinement ;-)
