Both "P" progressive and "PsF" progressive segmented frame pictures
are the same. Both are true progressive scan pictures. The difference
is a transmission and storage trick: the progressive frame is
segmented into even and odd scan lines and placed in an "interlaced"
pair of fields. No vertical filtering is applied, no change takes
place to the actual picture, it is just conveyed in a manner that
makes it compatible with display on a CRT monitor and with certain
tape transports.

The process is completely reversible so that you can always recover
the original progressive frame for further processing.
