Any analog instrument (e.g. CRT) is by definition "approximately 
correct" and any 100% digital value which represents an analog value 
can be no more precise than its minimum quantization interval so it is 
also "approximately correct".

OK fussy pants !! .....  All monitors are and should "exact" within the
limits of the very precise light metering equipment that is used today.
