thanks Jack, I missed that it was included now.  But I believe it's
only useful on the
Recent:Changes page, so what one could do to check the wiki quickly
for new articles is
to bookmark:

http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/Special:Recentchanges   and
hit the RSS button
    on the right, or just bookmark
http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/Special:Recentchanges?feed=rss
    (and the feed switches to atom incidentally).
