 My personal recent experience is that at the end of the process, I wish
I'd try to scrape up a few more dollars for a used Quadra. Or maybe even
waited a while longer for Jeff's Kinneta scanner. It turns out it
wouldn't have cost much more.

Donated equipment is often difficult, whether it's five year old pc's or
twenty year old telecines. It's hard to turn down something that seems
so valuable but sometimes free isn't worth it.
