I could use one of these too! :-)

Note that Cineon supports the common 10 bit format, but also two 
obscure 8 bit formats.

I have no idea if it is right, or if this mailing list will allow the 
attachment to go through, but I have attached a tiny monochrome Cineon 
file written by either GraphicsMagick or CinePaint (I can't remember 
which).
