It's a great technique when scanning original material. Has
Northlight licensed Kodak's ICE patents, or are they working around
them?

However, it does nothing for printed-in dust, dirt, and scratches --
which much of the archival material I deal with suffers from -- when
you are searching for ANY element of a film, you can't always be choosy.

That said, looking forward to scanning the OCN of "THE GREAT TRAIN
ROBBERY" on a Kinetta scanner at the Library of Congress.

As for monochrome DPX, it would be a fine thing if everyone could
agree on a standard for this, as there are a few possibilities here.
Anyone agree?
