IMHO it's a big mistake to send an HD tape to be filmed out without at least 
testing a section. Much better, if you can do it, is do a final pass (at 
least) in RGB log data to Cineon files (not DPX) with at least one frame of LAD 
gray (444 across in 10-bit). Cineon includes gamma, black point and white point 
assumptions, so if you have solid data and the output house screws it up, it's 
their fault.
