[Tig] how to prepare HD for transfer to film

I agree with Bob except the other way around.
It sounds like they are Log files but have been recorded to film as 
linear files.

Log encoded images displayed or recorded as linear, look low contrast 
and de-saturated.
Linear images displayed or recorded as Logarithmic, look high contrast 
and very saturated.
