Chris,
According to our measurements and my human vision the DP90KP offers a purer
red an green (and a little bit purer blue) than the competing DLP-Cinema
products. I did not recognise any change in contrast/blacklevels.
Compared to non DLP-cinema products I love the JVC-QX-1 for HDTV-grading but
I have never seen a cineon setup with the QX-1 matching film as accurate as
it is possible to do with the DLP-cinema products.
I can not say anything about the sony 4K projector as I have only seen it on
trade fairs and not jet in a real world grading suite setup.
I would not recommend using CRT monitoring for digital intermediate work.
