Now that QuickTime 7* is able to playback the high quality H.264
in both Mac and PC laptops, don't you think it would be a better solution
to offer DVD rushes recorded under this apparently lossless format?

Killing two birds (the DoP and the director) with the same media.
would be qicker and less expensive.  ;-)
