it has been a long time since a request was made for tig subscribers
to make contributions to the group.  Though manufacturers have the
resources to make larger contributions, we have 1400 subscribers
who, by making relatively minsicule contributions, can become the
deciding
voice for the tig.  It is under consideration to let the manufacturers
be passive recipients of subscriber requests, in the best tradition
of some kind of form of anti-lobbying and self-control.

if there is a dispute or argument for manufactures to support the
group then let this be an invtation for discussion.  However, I
feel that the colorists/engineers/facility owners are more
responsible for content and sincerity than the manufacturers.

Once I get the wiki rebuilt things may naturally change, but that is
a bit a ways off yet.
