There is a Telecine course offered here at Columbia College Chicago, in the Film & Video
Department. It is a course for advanced Cinematography and Editing students, taught by working
professional Colorists. There are prerequisites required, as this class is part of a curriculum, and not
intended as just a training course for Colorists, more as a hands-on course to help Cinematography
and Editing students understand the processes, workflow, and potential in film to tape transfer work.
We have a Bosch FDL-60 and a DaVinci 8:8:8 color corrector. See www.filmatcolumbia.com for more
information about our programs. Sincerely, Peter Hartel, Faculty, Film&Video Department, Columbia
College Chicago
