Isn't good old film negative wonderful. especially the curved response at
each end. No need to worry about is it level X or level Y it's just around
Level Xish or Yish and can still be gotten off the neg.
Steve, I guess your ploy worked. Seems others are giving you the answers
you needed, I assume that was your ploy as you did not yourself come
forward with sets of numbers as to how you would resolve the issue. (Tongue
now stuck firmly in cheek!)

This issue , as others have stated, makes D.I. look more like the real film
intermediate with all the variabilities seen in the film proccess. Is D.I.
becoming the "Digital Indeterminate".
