I've seen three postings under this subject line - all from Woz. 

Two of them were replies to other postings - which didn't seem to come
through on the list - but Woz managed to include them in his responses
(thanks) - so eventually it all made sense.

But surely this isn't the way the list is meant to work  . . . public
questions and private answers. 

On my email (Outlook), "reply to all" replies to the list as well as to the
individual sender. It would be nice if everyone did that, so we can share
the knowledge that is being exchanged.

Then there would be no need for all the concatenated quoted original
messages in every email.
