Yes, I was referring to a VA track - although I know the subject line still
refers to a VD track, it seemed the topic had broadened out to include VA.
I would imagine that a focus change would hit the high frequency response
both in VA and VD tracks.
We used to find that high frequency reproduction was the best measure of
slippage, loss of contact and other issues on contact printers - easier to
measure than a visual test.
