[TIG] Digital Dailies

I recently posted this on the CML, but think the TIG may have better
feedback for me.

I've recently been involved in the digital dailies setup for a fairly large
film and have posted some of my findings on -

I'd be interested in feedback on what I've written as I'm sure the mistakes
made are not uncommon.

I'm also not sure that a lot of the 'calibration' systems offered for colour
management throughout the shoot/dailies/DI process are really capable of
what they are suggesting for the reasons outlined in the story.

Obviously this is a very specific example, and is a 35mm shoot, not digital
Capture (although there is some).

Anyway, comments please.
