CSI, blah. The HD version of Sex and Lucia (Lucía y el sexo),
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0254455/) is truely incredible. I
recorded the film twice on my PVR and just could not get enough of how
incredible the images were. If you like the contrast in CSI you will
truely love the use (abuse?) of light and contrast in this film. The
cinematographer and colorist for this film score a 10 out of 10 in my
book.

Another facinating visual films are Vertical Ray of the Sun
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0224578/) or The Scent of Green Papaya
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107617/) from a director who produces
some of the most beautiful motion images in the world.

The RED camera may produce nice images, but the result will only be as
good as the cinematographer's own vision.
