While I think you might keep track of the petty cash on Microsoft  
Excel, if you are CFO of General Motors you probably want something  
like SAP to provide "professional" performance in financial modelling.

Yes, there are some processes for which a consumer-level product  
works well enough and fast enough for professional users, too.  
Photoshop is a good example. So is Word.

But I will take some convincing that a consumer-level product will  
work fast enough - at least on today's standard platforms - for  
highly intuitive realtime processing on big files like moving video.

But - as I have said many times before - what do I know. Are there  
colorists who feel that Color is either a tool they would want to  
use, or a genuine threat to their business?
