It does appear the effects will go very deep.  Recalling the less  
divisive strike of 1988, it was the lever that moved agencies and  
producers to consider moving production to Canada.  Hollywood really  
was never the same afterwards, though recently had reinvented itself  
(at least as far as post is concerned) in converting to long-form.
