[Tig] Grading for the big screen - grading on the big screen

Hi all,

we are currently running a grading room with a 4m (13') wide projection
area.
Our customer would love to see a bigger image as some aspects like contrast
feel different on a bigger screen, even if the measured values are the same.
But our colourists fear that grading on such a big screen will be much more
stressful than on smaller screens.

>From my understanding it will mostly be a low viewingdistance-to-screenwidth
ratio that makes grading exhausting.

For our second grading room I am thinking of a 7m (~23' ) wide screen and a
viewing distance of around 10 meters (~33') from the colourist's eye to the
screen.

I would be very happy if you could give me your opinion on this matter.
