Terry was there, too -- but we called him "Speedo" back then! MIT
was an amazing place back then... a real hotbed of cinema verite
filmmaking. (And the place I was lucky enough to meet my filmmaking
partner and girlfriend Joel DeMott -- still together 34 years later.
But I digress.)

Using an old Super8Sound recorder is a very good idea -- it may work
without modification except for the tape guides. You could also run
it on a 16mm dubber if you modified the rollers and made a guide for
the sprocket to keep the film lined up -- though you'd also need to
remount the head so it's in the right position.

We could probably run it on a Kinetta Archival Scanner easily enough,
with a few mods. I can add 8mm fullcoat to some of the other odd
formats we scan, like 17.5mm Movette, 22mm EHK, 28mm, etc.
