Interesting!

I have clients asking for progressive files, but we do telecine with 
a standard SD machine here doing 625/50i PAL through a Blackmagic 
card to files on a PC.

If we scan (telecine) a film at 25fps (or any fps actually) to 
computer files through a Blackmagic card and then de-interlace the 
file later using After Effects or other software. Can we then 
rightfully say we can deliver progressive material (25p)? I mean, is 
a de-interlaced 50i video the same as a progressive 25p video? Or am 
I waaay off here?
