8K scan sampling doesn't mean that the files were worked any higher than 4K, 
and I seriously doubt any precursor elements were used. They tend to be really 
hard to find, if nothing else. Plus, recomping them turns into real work real 
fast, and there's no reason to suppose a digital comp would be materially 
better than a 65mm optical, other than the generation loss.
