"needed"?  really....?  I tend to equate "need" with "budget", but,  
that might be an unrealistic personal bias, operating out here in  
some kind of vacuum...

Reading through the ad (is it quoted as written?), kind of looks like  
the advertiser is a bit unclear on the concept.  They think "Da  
Vinci" (sic) is another software corrector that might somehow be  
compatible with Final Cut 6?  Those of us who use Apple COLOR might  
not all be totally convinced that it is either, for that matter!  ;)

Anyway, if whoever gets suckered into this does allow their name to  
stand, it will at least make it easier to blacklist them.

Nice feedback as to how valued the position of 'colorist' has  
become...   ie., "not at all".
