[Tig] Colorist needed

Well, to be charitable, the original post on Mandy.com does end with:

Despite the "lo/no" tag of the posting, I assume this implies some  
kind of budget for doing the work.

I have noticed that Mandy.com, like many online film/video job sites,  
has a healthy number of "indie" projects that get posted, which  
naturally implies limited experience (especially with the needs of  
post, it seems) and of course limited budgets. I honestly can't hold  
either against the person making the post. When funding a magnum opus  
out of pocket, one will invariably be looking for the best possible  
deal. Of course, that doesn't mean one will get good work for free.

I think the real challenge going forward is in continuing to educate  
and set realistic expectations for the market of emerging filmmakers/ 
producers/post supervisors who are coming up the ranks as to the  
realistic minimum costs of running a properly configured color  
correction suite in the hands of an experienced professional.
