Wasn't there a sea change, about 8 years ago in Los Angeles, when
facility owners also became rock stars? In fact one whom I worked for
and respected was a friend of George Harrison's and Ravi Shankar's,
and had the finest guitar collection outside of Norm's in Van Nuys.
Then there were also the heads of the other two or three highly
competitive facilities. So there <:-)

I'm waiting for the day when the facility owners become jazz artists,
and recognize that 2008 is the 50th anniversary of the beginning of
Bossa Nova. :o)
