There was a freelance camera operator in New York in the 1970s, Jack-something-or-other, who did a lot of work at Teletronics. One day I had to check on a rental we sent over to a shoot he was working on; as we chatted, he opened up the side of the PC-70 he was operating, pulled out his lunch bag and started to eat. He explained that there was plenty of storage room in the head, and it kept the food warm as well...
