nice video out of that machine, eh Scott? its only problem was lack of
still mode. German engineering.

I should mention however that the real workhorse 1" machines at Action
Video were the RCA TR800s, with a master remote panel, where we could
do some cool A/B kinds of telecine mastering; I still miss the small
GVG switchers that could do soft wipes, so that Bob Festa and I could
put our photos on the slates at the head of transfers. We also put the
subcarrier frequency, linerate, framerate, tape width, tape speed,
video format, film format, aspect ratio, and our pre- and post-session
blood pressure data on the slates.
