Hi Dwaine, and anyone else who might be able to help:
I'm in a session right now where I need to do single field
cuts, and the scene detector isn't quite up to the task of
sensing correctly these extremely short cuts. I have your
notes of April 27 this year regarding adjusting the marks
on a DUI 888 system:
----begin excerpt.
dui 888:
Press the number that you want to change the fields to (1 or 2) and
then
press the Frame Adjust key.
If you press the Frame Adjust key without entering a 1 or 2 first,
it will
toggle the field state of the current scene only.
On serial panels, it's the FRAME key, on the bottom transport key
group, to
the left of the READY key
On net panels, it may be called FRAME ADJUST or FRAMING. It's the
key to the
right of the CTRL key, above the ALLSTOP key and to the right of the
Jog
knob.
---begin excerpt
But I am on a DUI 888 version 4.3.4 and there is no Frame Adjust
key. I have
a "Frame Scene (underline)" key, and a "Field (dot)" key. Can you
tell me how to
change the field of one particular event? And confirm that it is
possible to have
single-field events in succession?
thanks in advance.
