1) TIG wiki has a revised FAQ that includes a link to the most recent
advice
on becoming a colorist. The FAQ itself is of two parts:
becoming a colorist,
and using the TIG. see http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/
index.php/FAQ

2) the navbar on the TIG wiki has a new item, "History of the TIG."
      http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/History_of_the_TIG

3) still need contributions to the 'technical discussions' section,
and to the
TIGNABFS07 (the section for vendors/mfrs who want to publicize
their
       NAB offerings) at http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/
TIGNABFS07

4) There is a "commercial announcements" section that is kind of a
year-round
manufacturer/vendor forum when there isn't a compelling reason
to include
product information on the NAB Focus Sheet or the IBC section.
      http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/Commercial_announcements

5) Thanks again to Dave Corbitt and Glenn Chan for their ongoing
contributions
to the wiki. This reminds me to add Dave Tosh to the TIG
History section as
he did some monumental work on a database that was lost in a
crash some
time back, as well as other time-consuming and even financial
contributions.
When you have a chabnce take a look at Dave C's Datsun Roadster
in the
photo album (in the navbar) {new Village People Song: In the
Navbar}
