I wrote that rather quickly and a better syntax after the colon
in the above paragraph is:

"the problem is that the IP address of the submitting host is
blacklisted at earthlink."

I'm in the process of creating a workaround that will allow
earthlink subscribers to receive TIG messages; it's not a trivial
amount of work, as it involves kicking messages to another server
and resending them out via a Bcc: header to a manually-maintained
list of earthlink and mindspring TIG subscriber email addresses.

Should have something working by tomorrow.
