Rob,
Your description of squeezing end credits to one side for other promotions
is common here in the UK, Not BBC but some other high profile channels. I
guess 625 helps slightly but they are still difficult to read.
As an aside I am trying to organise in assoctation with BKSTS an evening of
end credit explanations hopefully at the NFT in the UK.
You know the sort of thing,
What is :
A Foley Edito
A Best Boy
A Key Grip
A Wrangler
etc.etc
We hope to actually get the people described to present their purpose
I know last year, at the BAFTAs I think, this really old guy got an award
for Best Boy !
We may know what they mean, an great number of people do not. (Even what
is the differernce between a producer & a director to many is unclear)
cheers
Peter
