[Tig] earthlink workaround

well the road to good intentions is paved with hell.                            
                                                                                
The earthlink "fix" worked fine as long as nobody at                            
earthlink tried to reply to the posts.  There ensued                            
a vicious (and viscous) mail loop that's still ringing                          
around the internet.  So I have to debug the loop now..                         
but in the meantime I encourage switching to a different                        
address for TIG mail ...and I'll help anyone who wants                          
to do that.  gmail does offer a free account and forwarding                     
to any address (earthlink included).
