[Tig] colorists in The New Yorker magazine

I recall, years ago, the company I worked for (Tele-Cine Ltd - sadly long
ago absorbed into Ascent Media) was moving into a new building. As Chief
Engineer it fell to me to design pretty much everything including the
interior design (can you imagine asking the engineers to do that today?!).
I'd no idea where to start until I suddenly noticed that the new colour
scheme on the then British Railways carriage upholstery was based on pink
and grey. This combination of colours kept appearing all over the place and
I realised that the UK had a colour 'fashion' I'd never noticed before. I
proposed pink and grey detailing which lasted many years (though I actually
never liked it!).

I wonder if we could identify a predominant colour for each decade?
