I have one (being a nerdy geek), but I don't gots a clue when it comes to
its color temp.
I just downloaded a recent network show from iTunes that we worked on at
Technicolor/Hollywood, and I was planning to bring it into work to see how
good/bad/ugly it looked compared to a real monitor.
It's one of those things like a dancing bear: it's amazing that it works at
all _on a phone_, to the point where it seems silly to start nit-picking
about picture quality. It's not horrible -- it doesn't send me screaming
from the room. But I do have to cringe at the thought of directors and
other creative people using iPods and iPhones for dailies. But at least the
iPhone screen is a lot bigger than the current iPod screens (roughly a 3" x
2" display).
It's pretty amazing to see a web page rendered on an iPhone, and still being
able to read it. It's a version 1.0 device, so there's still some issues
here and there, but I like it a lot more than I would a Blackberry or a
Treo.
