My car mechanic Willie is part of a group of fringe CB enthusiasts  
who build huge linear amplifiers -- he has 10KW in his truck, and can  
be heard in Germany on CB!

He used to be a member of a group called the Rooster Channel Jumpers,  
a Black fraternal CB club where many members built huge linears.   
Dates back to the 70s.
