[Tig] 10bit RGB linear versus 10bit log

In general, for those of you who've graded both 10log and 10lin data  
from flat transfers to HDCAM-SR, would you say that the log data has  
a massively significant advantage in terms of exposure  
correction...specifically in terms of pulling highlight detail back  
from over-exposure?
