[Tig] removable storage disks

I have two of these LA CIE enclosures given me when they failed out  
of their warantee period.
All four WD discs that were inside are fine and installed in cheaper  
(ULTRA branded) non  raided enclosures.
Does anyone know if its worth repairing the BOX itself?
Both were the 500gig product that appears as one drive of 500MB
