The breadth of knowledge contained among TIG readers shows up again.

Thanks to all who have replied so far.  I particularly appreciate the  
linked information.
I've passed the info on to the OP.

FGI (For General Info) I ran across this ink to the National  
Cinemedia Production Resources page, and its ad submission specs,  
including audio.
National Cinemedia is the in-theater advertising arm of AMC, Regal  
and Cinemark.

They ultimately convert the incoming ads to MPEG-2 and deliver via  
satellite to theater servers for playback on digital projectors.
