[Tig] An historic showdown in 1998

In 1998 SMA Video in NYC hosted Transfomania I, a showdown between an  
Ursa "Diamond" (see the text for footnotes on that designation, esp.  
Dave Corbitt's and Neal Feldman's comments) and a Philips Spirit.   
There was then an interesting discussion on the TIG regarding the  
relative merits of the machines and the methods used in the  
comparison.  See

Was there ever a Transfomania II, with Spirit II and DSX, in HD or 2K?
