One thing I've learned from developers other than Apple is that if it  
feels like a bug to the user, it is a bug.  This feels like a bug, so  
I consider it a bug, even if it's known or intended or as old as FT  
v1.0.

I'm grateful to the experienced FT users who are helping us new Color  
users get our feet wet, but collectively we should all be very firm  
with Apple about the improvements and fixes that this exciting  
software needs.  The first-blush reactions of new users are  
invaluable for this process -- folks new to the software tend to spot  
usability issues that experienced users have long ago learned to work  
around.
