[Tig] Cringely: accurate on digital vs. analog?

I read recently a document published by the Public Broadcasting Service
of the U.S. on its website, specifically
http://www.pbs.org/opb/crashcourse/digital_v_analog/
written by Robert Cringely, that addresses the differences between  
digital
and analog TV, and explains to the layman such terms as Cringely deems
important.

I found some english errors and can definitely take issue with some of
Cringely's statements, as I don't necessarily agree with them.  Would
someone else care to comment on the information he presents?
