There was indeed what we called a "Pre-Programmer" version of the da
Vinci
product that was named Leonardo, or "Leo" for short. It had no internal
processing, and controlled the telecine and its processing. It's
possible
there could still be one or two floating around in Europe.

Masters Of Color Correction
I believe Leonardo was some form of "stripped down" color corrector from
da
Vinci in the Ursa telecine era. But maybe my mind is playing tricks !
