entirely off-topic, but since the film is mentioned . . . .
Now we are well into the new century, how do people refer to the year? "Two
thousand and seven" is still common, as was two thousand and six etc. But
I'm hearing a strong move towards this year being called "twenty -o- seven".
Last century I guess "nineteen -o-seven" was pretty universal.
I wonder if it all started with _that_ film being called. . ."two thousand
and one, a space odessey" . No-one ever called it "twenty-o-one, a space
odessey" so far as I remember.
Perhaps that is what started the confusion.
