da Vinci prides itself in a successful training program supporting  
customers, freelance artists and curious students alike.  In addition  
to on-location support of new product installations, da Vinci also  
offers classes several times per year at both its Florida  
headquarters and its Singapore offices.  Courses are focused by  
product and are directed toward several levels of competency,  
including classes specifically tailored for beginners.  Product  
offerings include Resolve? Training, Beginning 2K? Training, and 2K  
Training for Experienced Colorists. 2K Training for Experienced  
Colorists includes instruction on da Vinci?s newest product, Splice?,  
the essential tool for crossing the bridge to nonlinear workflow  
while continuing to leverage the da Vinci 2K Plus?.

Upcoming training is scheduled as follows:

2K Training in Coral Springs, Florida ? June 4-7, 2007
The emphasis of this session will be hands-on-training recommended  
for experienced Colorists only. The course will consist of two 2-day  
classes, with Monday and Tuesday being the 2K Plus Operations class  
and Wednesday and Thursday being the Options Workshop. Tuition is  
$500 per day per student, payable in advance.
Class 1 (2 days): 2K Plus Operations
Topics covered include 2K and 2K Plus system overviews,  
configurations, color enhancement, Channels, Defocus and Colorist  
Toolbox with practical examples. Ideal for colorists using these  
systems looking for speed, techniques and creative ideas. Colorists  
learn to identify and solve common problems and develop new Macros  
and PowerGrade libraries.
Class 2 (2 days): 2K Options Workshop
Topics covered include, techniques and applications of Colorist  
Toolbox vectors, filters and textures, Color Trace, Defocus and  
Defocus Plus, Channels and Keybus; emphasis is on practical examples.  
Ideal for colorists with these options, or considering purchasing  
these options. The workshop explores techniques and creative ideas.
