[Tig] HDCAM SR 444 880 Mbps

Dear Sirs,


I have read the following in the user's manual of Sony SRW-1:

Tapes recorded with the 444H setting (444, 880 Mbit/s) cannot be played back on the 
SRW-5000.

Is that true for SRW-5500, too?

If yes, how can you handle that recording format during post production?
