[Tig]Why'd they do that? was new compression methods (camera)

Dick, Peter,

Dick's message to which Peter is replying seems never
to have been posted to the TIG.  Is it a ghost message,
that arrived via an ectoplasmic circuit comprised of
12AX7A and 6L6 valves?
