Some of you that were lucky enough to enjoy the tour that was hosted here at CBS TVC for the 50th anniversary of videotape may have remembered my cohort John Ramstad. He worked for Ampex as an engineer. He also worked freelance around town as a quad expert.
He was one of the most talented engineers I have ever had the pleasure to know.

 He passed away this morning after a sudden heart attack last Friday.
