[Tig] colour to black and white

Hi,

i am about to start a di of a feature which is shot  on color film ( kodak 
). the dop wants to grade the entire film to be black and white. now my 
question is, will i be able to achieve a b/w image without any colour cast. 
i have done a couple of tests and i still see the yellow cast on the print.i 
have taken all the care to calibrate my monitor and my lad values of the 
print are very close the target lad values.

please guide
